  • Introduction

    Recently, solar energy systems have attracted significant attention as part of the renewable energy drive to protect our environment. Solar energy conversion and enhancement of the heat transfer characteristics of the solar thermal systems have significant impact on the energy usage, and environmental as well as energy saving. The use of different nanofluids enhances the heat transfer characteristics, efficiency and performance of the solar thermal systems and thermal properties of heat transfer fluids compared with conventional fluids. This special issue will focus on research and review papers investigating different applications of nanofluids in solar thermal engineering systems include but not limited to solar collectors and thermal energy storage systems and the effects of nanofluids on the thermal characteristics, behavior, efficiency, of solar thermal systems and hybrid systems.

  • Guidelines for Submission

    Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

    Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.ijepe.org/submission). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.
